Camp Courageous is a barrier-free recreation and respite facility serving individuals ranging in age from 3-100 with a variety of disabilities and medical conditions. Camp Courageous offers a TR internship position during the Fall, Spring, and Summer. The intern will gain experience working directly with campers through Camp’s weeklong residential program, special events, outdoor education program, and respite program, as well as through the opportunity to travel with Camp to various locations.

An internship at Oaknoll will provide great experience at three levels of care: Independent, Assisted and Long Term Care/Dementia Specific. Interns learn how to properly plan and engage residents in group opportunities as well as one to one. Care plans are built and evaluated, calendars are developed and interns get to participate in current projects and events as an active contributor. Pathways Adult Day Health Center

Pathways Adult Day Health Center offers adult day programming in addition to a Day Habilitation program. Interns will spend time building rapport with clients, planning and implementing both adult day and day hab programming, and completing their internship project. Interns will also learn the administrative side of TR in working with funding and referral sources, writing ISP goals and treatment plans, and attending relevant trainings with the CTRS. We have a wide range of ages, abilities, and interests; every day is different and more fun than the last!
